Program Manager · Producer · Vocalist
With over twenty years across entertainment, faith, and business, Shiena has built a career that doesn't fit neatly into one lane — and that's exactly the point. Early in her career, she worked within the management teams of some of the industry's most respected names, including Janelle Monáe, Mary Mary, Deitrick Haddon, and Angie Stone, worked on behalf of Shanice alongside her creative consultant, and produced multiple live shows for PJ Morton, including a tour date and a joint show with Sy Smith — their first time sharing a stage. From there, Shiena went on to manage artists, produce events, and lead projects and programs at every level of the industry, including serving as executive staff for a ministry whose live gatherings streamed to tens of thousands across multiple countries, and bringing senior production leadership to Miss DC USA for two consecutive years. Today, in her Fortune 500 role, she is responsible for approximately $1.9M in monthly revenue.
Her artistry lives at the same intersection. Shiena grew up surrounded by music — her grandfather's song is still sung in churches around the world to this day. A Spelman College trained Contemporary Jazz Vocalist and songwriter, Shiena was debuted as a solo artist at the Long Beach Jazz Festival by Eric Seats. She has produced music events across multiple cities including The Sound, a live music series in Philadelphia spotlighting mental health in the creative community, and is a published author. Her singles I'll Wait for You and I Choose You are available on all streaming platforms, and her debut album Love's Vulnerable is currently in production, featuring producers Jeremy Jeffers and Lil' John Roberts.
Shiena is also the Founder and Creative Director of Church on the Yard™, a multi-day outdoor music festival in development for Downtown Detroit, where jazz, R&B, pop, and worship share the same stage — all connected by the same faith.
